Steven Guydo

9-11th Grade Instructor

Steven grew up in western Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt!). While at Pitt he earned a degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering and also received certification to be a secondary educator in Mathematics. He began his professional career as an engineer working on environmental projects. “I’ve always had the desire to teach and have been teaching secondary STEM-related courses for the past 11 years and working with FIRST Robotics.” Steven currently teaches 6th grade Design/Robotics at McAuliffe International School. He came to Colorado because of his desire to explore the great outdoors and love being on the trail, camping in the mountains, or taking in a show at Red Rocks. He enjoys traveling the country and would love to visit every National Park. “Being from the Steel City, I bleed black and gold and am an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.”
