Paul Roberts, M.Ed.
6th Grade Instructor
Paul and his wife Anita are both natives of Denver, she grew up on the westside and he grew up on the east side. We met at church and are going on our 38th year of marriage. I attended Denver Public Schools. They have 3 children: Melissa 35, Amy 31 and PJ 21. Paul graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver with masters in elementary education. He then taught 5th grade in Denver Public Schools for 25 years at the same school. He retired two years ago and was bored of hanging out at home retired. Currently, along with teaching at PBLA, he works part time transporting people who have been injured on the job to their doctor’s appointments. Paul also works for Metropolitan State supervising student teachers. This will be his twenty first year at the PBLA teaching 5th grade students who are making the transition to middle school. “I am looking forward to another summer at PBLA! PS: the latest best thing that has happened recently in our family, was that my beloved wife received the ‘Florence Nightingale’ award as one of the 12 top nurses out of approx. 6000 in Colorado. I would say I married up, don't you think?”
