Bryan Bayham, M.Ed.

6-8th Grade Instructor

Bryan Bayham is currently a teacher at Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver, Colorado. He is a leader in the Social Studies Department, and also coaches baseball during the spring. Bryan was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and has lived in both San Jose, California and now Denver, Colorado. Bryan has found tremendous passion in the field of education. He is enthusiastic about the subjects that he teaches and is constantly striving to learn more about the world around him. Bryan graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and graduate school in 2013 with a Master of Arts in education at Santa Clara University with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. His instructional focus emphasizes student-driven work while providing choice assignments and multiple opportunities for expressing knowledge. He wants his students to learn by engaging with the work, rather than being asked to simply listen and recall information. This pedagogy maintains clear expectations and an appropriate amount of discipline so that students can have a great time, while engaging in rigorous, academic content.
In his free time, he loves exploring the mountains with his fiancé and their puppy while going backpacking, camping and fishing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. He is an avid sports enthusiast, favoring golf in the summer, and basketball, baseball, and football year round. Above all, he finds most of his enjoyment and relaxation by reading books and short stories at local coffee shops.
